Polymer chemistry is a branch of chemistry that deals with chemical synthesis, chemical properties of polymers, physical properties of polymers, structure, and macromolecules. Polymer chemistry is the analysis of how the smaller monomers combine and create useful materials with specific characteristics by manipulating the molecular structure of the monomers used, the composition of the monomer combinations, and applying chemical and processing techniques that can affect the properties of the final product to a large extent.
